The theory test is made up of a multiple choice part and a hazard perception part. The multiple choice part of the test involves 50 questions and you need to get 43 right (86%) to pass. The hazard perception test has 14 clips of film, each lasting 20-30 seconds with a total of fifteen developing hazards that you need to identify by clicking the mouse. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test.

Grant can give you all the information you need for the test and can recommend the best materials to help you to pass.

Once you’ve passed the theory test you can apply to take your practical driving test.

The driving part of your test will last about 40 minutes during which you will be examined on your general driving and ability to reverse your vehicle safely. You may also be asked to carry out an emergency stop exercise.

Your practical driving test will include approximately ten minutes of independent driving. This is designed to assess your ability to drive safely while making decisions independently.
